WSOP $10K Main Event Day 5: Wrap Up & Photos

November 14, 2021 1 min Read

WOW! What a day at the World Series of Poker $10,000 Main Event No-Limit Hold’em World Championship!

Day 5 was the most exciting yet, with 292 players starting the day and a field of 96 surviving to bag up chips by the time the action ceased. Just think – of 6,650 different entries, only 96 players still can dream of becoming the 2021 WSOP Main Event champ. And there’s still lots and lots of action left to go!

Each player starting Day 6 is now guaranteed at least $59,000 on their exit.

Koray Aldemir – originally from Germany, residing in Austria – is the tournament chip leader, finishing Day 5 with 14,325,000 in chips, and the average chip stack is 4,150,000.

How Are The GGPoker Players Doing?

Today saw 16 GGPoker players take to the felt, with fully half of them still flying the flag at the end of the day.

Here’s a list of the surviving players’ stacks:

Abhinav Iyer – 5,850,000
Roman Hrabec
– 4,370,000
Vasu Amarapu
– 3,960,000
Sean Ragozzini
– 3,310,000
Raul Manzanares
– 2,995,000
Shai Arbel
– 2,800,000
Yuri Dzivielevski
– 2,030,000
Niko Koop
– 250,000

We can’t wait to see how you all do in Day 6 – each one of you should be super proud of what you have achieved!

Today saw the final GGPoker ambassador hit the rail, our own Jason Koon, who finished in 194th spot for $44,200. Hard luck Jason, but well done on making it so far!
